Each year Horsham hosts a range of New Year celebrations, whether you’re a young couple or a big family looking to keep the kids entertained. From panto to parties, enjoy bringing in the New Year and here’s to a wonderful 2016!

Murder Mystery, Cisswood House

For something a little different to bring in the new year, why not try the murder mystery event at Cisswood House? You can book a room at the hotel for a long weekend, or go along for an evening of intrigue, dinner and disco. At £90 per person, it’s a bit pricey but the unique experience will surely be worth the money. The plot, which is available in advance, centres around you having won a competition to attend a celebrity party with the fictional stars of Sunday night tv show “Beyond Pryce”. Dress to impress and suspect everyone!

New Year’s Eve Party, B52s & Piries Place

A local favourite, B52s in Piries Place is hosting a special New Year’s celebration on 31 December, with both bars opening til late and the DJ set to have an amazing playlist. If you’re worried about cost, the night is free entry and you can book ahead if you’re in a large group wanting to celebrate the new year in style and with some exciting dance moves. Contact the venue on [email protected] for more information about attending, or simply turn up on the night, but get there early to make the most of the party.

Beauty & The Beast Panto, The Capitol

Horsham’s the Capitol theatre is bringing out all the stops with this year’s traditional family pantomime! Following in the footsteps of last year’s hugely successful run of Cinderella,  this year the venue is offering a night of laughter with its take on Disney’s classic Beauty and the Beast. You can see the team, including favourites Mike Goble and Richard Alan from last year, perform from 11 December 2015 until 3 January 2016. Enjoy the performance on 31 December for a magical welcome into the new year.

It’s recommended to book in advance. For more information visit The Capitol website.

New Year’s Eve Disco, Rudgwick Sports & Community Centre

Head to the Rudgwick Club for a Starlight Disco, free for members or only £1.00 for guests; your final bargain of 2015! Aside from music, dancing and drinks, take part in the prize draw and see if you can’t win big for January.

Whatever you decide to do, and staying in to watch the fireworks on TV is a legitimate option, have a fun and safe evening.
