The Big Nibble

Launched by The Big Nibble, which attracts families and foodies alike, the Carfax will be full of a variety of international cuisine and tastes to suit everyone. Live food demonstrations, a beer trail, bake-off and free samples are just some of the highlights you can enjoy.

The Big Nibble is now one of the biggest food and drink events in the south of the UK and a two day showcase for local traders. Thousands are expected to enjoy the tantalising cuisine, unique street food and live entertainment; here’s hoping the weather will match the atmosphere!

Food and Drink Trail

Throughout the popular event, local businesses open up their doors and even set-up welcome areas to offer fantastic deals and tasting opportunities; including Bills and The Anchor. Starting at 10am to 4pm each day, head over the to beer tent and pick up a small samples glass to take to participating pubs and restaurants to try local beers; make sure you pick up your map to get each one ticked off! Who knows, you may even discover a new favourite.

If you’re wondering what food will feature, participating traders will offer cheeses, sweet treats, local chutneys, coffees and of course cider and beer. You can also head over The Great Horsham Bake Off on Sunday in The Forum so see cakes in action in what normally becomes a fun, heated competition for amateurs.

A great way to enjoy the British Summer and support local businesses in the heart of the town, which events are you most looking forward to from the festival?
