Get your Nibble on in Horsham this September

It’s that time of year again when Horsham town will be filled with food markets, interactive shows and children’s activities. That’s right, The Big Nibble is back yet again to tease us with it’s tantalizing selection of local breads, chutney and cider, with sweet smells of confectionery and cake wafting through the air. The festival will appear in Horsham over two days from Saturday the 5th to Sunday the 6th of September.

If you’re a lover of food and drink, or support local produce, this is one event you cannot miss this year. The two days will compile events fun for all the family, which so far goes as follows:

Big Nibble Market // Saturday & Sunday

Horsham-Marktes

These will be managed by the Horsham Markets from 9am to 5pm. Take a stroll through the markets in Horsham’s Carfax throughout the day to find a mix of diverse local produce. From cheese to cake and ciders, you’ll be sure to find something to take home and enjoy.
The producers and participants are yet to be fully confirmed, but when they are they will appear here.

Live Food Show // Saturday

From 10am to 4pm, a demonstration kitchen will be set up in the Carfax for local chefs throughout the day to demonstrate their skills and impart their knowledge of dishes to the locals. Founder of Sussex Food and Drink Netwrok, Hilary Knight is organising the whole event. Chefs are yet to be confirmed.

Little Nibble // Saturday & Sunday

Horsham town never forgets about your little ones, which is why Food Rocks is holding a Children’s festival over the two days. Let your little rascals sample Street Food from around the world, create food figures, vote for their favourite dishes and watch cookery demo’s! All that is sure to keep your kids happy throughout the day. For more information, click here.

Horsham Beer Trail // Saturday

The Horsham Beer trail runs from 11am to 4pm. Details are yet to be confirmed, however most years boast a trail around Horsham’s best bars such as Piries, The Olive Brand and The Anchor Hotel.

Southdowns Historic Bus Rides // Sunday
