Ear wax removal

Ear wax build up is a common issue in people of all ages, and it can cause pain in the ear and muffled hearing. South East Hearing Care Centres offer two different types of ear wax removal. One is microsuction, a process by which one of their audiologists will use a microscope to identify the area in your ear which needs micro suction. Then a suction tool will be used to remove any ear wax or debris which is blocking the ear. The other method is ear irrigation, where a video otoscope will be used to perform an examination of your ear. Then, a small electronic irrigation device will be inserted to direct a flow of water into your ear canal to clear out the wax.

Each of these methods are painless and quick, and are much safer than any at-home methods you may seek to use.

Hearing tests

A hearing test is the best way to examine your hearing, and discover whether you have any issues.
