Celebrate Autumn’s arrival at Parham Harvest Fair

Can you believe it’s September already? Neither can we; but that does mean it’s almost time to celebrate at Parham Harvest Fair. If gun dogs and boundless amounts of tasty food sounds like your cup of tea, this is the event for you.

Parham is a beautiful civil parish located in the Horsham District with many modern landscaped parks and gardens to offer. With the very best of Parham’s produce, homemade foodie favourites and entertainment, how could you not be excited? Our team here at Horsham Blog think it’s frankly a great excuse for a family day out!

What should I expect?

Autumn brings with it an abundance of new vegetables and thus new recipes to try. This year, Parham have enrolled ITV ‘This Morning’ Chef Phil Vickery to demonstrate simple seasonal dishes to make at home live in the ‘Kitchen Theatre’. Food writer Rosemary Moon will also be back by popular demand to show her favourite ways to use fresh produce in your cooking.

Alongside these live demonstrations, expect to find many activities from deer walks to working horse cart rides and even foraging. You and the family can also enjoy many exciting shows in the ‘Outdoor Working Arena’ and the ‘Small-holder and Allotment Zone’ that celebrate all things about the estate lifestyle, such as anything from beekeeping to craft making, as well as Tudor inspired dancing.

If you get peckish, food and drink will be on sale throughout the two-day event; think truffle experts, garden-fresh jams and chutneys all whilst listening to live jazz.

Where and when?
