What to do in Horsham this Valentine’s Day

As we welcome in the New Year and get over the holiday hangovers, yet another special event awaits just around the corner. It’s a good idea to start to plan your Valentine’s Day early, especially if you’ve got a special someone to spend it with! That’s why we’ve gathered the best things to do around Horsham and Sussex this February 14th.

For the low-key couples

For a first date or a low key celebration, going out for dinner or a lunch is a perfect Valentine’s Day rendezvous. There are some great places around Horsham to grab a bite to eat, especially on East Street. Why not try Prezzo’s, Cote or even the new La Piazzetta Italian place near Albion Way? Book early to avoid missing out!

For those who love the lap of luxury

A step up from the usual Valentine’s date, this could be a great choice for those who have been together for a while or are celebrating an anniversary. Gatton Manor will open it’s doors on February the 13th for a three course dinner the night before Valentines. It’s just £25 per person for the meal, or if you prefer a night full of romance you can pay a little more (£99 for two) to get dinner, overnight accommodation and a full English breakfast prior to departure the next day.

For the outdoorsy types

Did you know that there are some great walks around the area? Grab your dog and take a leisurely walk around the area, providing that the weather is good! Start off the date with a stroll through a romantic setting followed by a pit-stop  at a delicious dessert place like Sugar and Snow.

For the adventurous lovers

Valentine’s Day is the perfect excuse to do something a little different with your loved one. Arundel is a great place to go for a day out, with a brisk walk around the town and a trip to the castle. There are plenty of tea rooms and fun stand alone shops to visit. A fabulous spot to make romantic memories!
