If you’re already finding your New Year efforts to get fit are becoming a challenge, head down to the Bluecoat Health and Fitness Club for some extra motivation.
On the 23rd January, they’re hosting their annual Open Day which is set to be action packed for both Member and Non-Members, with a variety of activities for men and women to get involved.
On the day, Bodypump and Body Balance are the main events, along with Body Combat at the club’s own version of Dance Fusion. It’s recommended that you trial several of these 15 minute sessions to discover an activity that works for you and will be a positive influence on your overall fitness routine.
Starting at 8.30am, this free event (that’s right, no charge!) runs sessions on a first come first serve basis for all experience levels, so don’t worry if it’s your first time.

Facilities and booking
Following on from the success of last year’s “Bluecoats biggest ever” Les Mills Body Combat class, the club hopes to reach out to over 200 locals to attend. In between classes, there will be a break for lunch and the on-site cafe will be open all day for protein shakes, teas and a little bit of what you fancy.
In addition to the open day classes, the club also has childcare facilities that can be booked for children aged three months to 12 year at the on site creche and kids club.
If you’re interested in this event and want to make a booking for one or more taster sessions, you can find the contact form here, or you can call the club directly on 01403 247 572. If you’re already a member, simply ask at reception.
