Christmas in Horsham

As it approaches the Christmas season, Horsham and our surrounding areas come alive with festivities for the whole family to enjoy. With plenty going on in 2016, these upcoming events are sure to get you in the Christmas spirit!

A ride on the Polar Express

Kicking off the merrymaking is the Polar Express at Sumners Pond,  commencing on the 3rd December.

The team at Sumners Pond invite you to set off on a tractor ride, otherwise known as the Polar Express that whisks you off to Santa’s Grotto. There will be a few stops along the way, first to meet his elves and make your own christmas decorations, before an unforgettable stop at Mrs Claus’ cottage.

Finally, kid’s will arrive at Santa’s lakeside cabin to tell him what they most want for Christmas. A magical ride for your kids that they will never forget!

Ticket prices and times can be found on sumnerponds.co.uk.

Something for all the family

If you’re looking for something to involve all the family there are a variety of things that all ages can enjoy together. On the 4th December Slinfold Golf and Country Club are holding a Santa Family Christmas Lunch that includes a delectable Christmas carvery followed by a visit from Santa for the little ones to enjoy.

Also a cute christmas outing for the family could be an evening at the panto watching the performance of Aladdin. The pantomime features West End standard singing and dancing and is at The Capitol from the 9th-31st December. Not to be missed!

Late night shopping

Give me the gift of time you say? Well, on Thursday 15th and 22nd December you will get 2 and a half extra hours of shopping time as Swan Walk will have extended open hours until 8pm. You will be able to shop until you drop and make sure you get those last minute stocking fillers to make Christmas complete.
