Horsham has an abundance of charity shops stocking absolutely tons of one off hidden gems. With Christmas coming up and so many gifts to buy, why not see what the local charity shops can offer you?

Alternatively, if you are having a pre-Christmas clear out please help the local causes by donating your unwanted items.


Chloe’s is a particularly large charity shop located to the left of KFC in the Bishopric area. Chloe’s sells a range of furniture, clothing, household items and toys.  Although independent, the profits are donated to the local church of The Salvation Army to develop its “HOPE IN” programme. Horsham Matters

Set up by Horsham Churches Together (HTC) their aim is to provide practical support to those in need in the local area.  They sell a range of furniture, electricals in full working order and kid’s toys. The donated kid’s toys have to be unsoiled, in mint condition and complete. This may be a great place to pick up a few last minute Christmas goodies! Cancer Research East Street

This store sells a range of men’s, women’s and children’s clothing and accessories. High quality homeware and linens. Books, CD’s, DVDs and electricals. As many of you will know, Cancer Research UK pioneers life-saving research to bring forward the day when all cancers are cured! If you fancy popping in to have a browse the shop is open 09:00 – 17:30 Mon-Saturday and 10:00 – 16:00 Sundays.  More info here.

Friends of St Catherine’s Hospice

These shops are critical to the delivery of hospice care and generates around 20% of the charity’s income each year. There is a great selection of high quality items in store to suit all budgets. This branch accepts furniture so please donate any unwanted items! Visit the shop and have a browse round yourself; you may be surprised at the sheer size of the shop! It’s a real Aladdin’s cave. British Heart Foundation

This shop sells a range of clothing, shoes and accessories, books, CD’s, toys and household items. You will be surprised what little gems you can find in store. By shopping here you are helping towards their ongoing lifesaving work.

Age UK Horsham District

This is an independent local charity, providing activities and services that promote, influence and improve the wellbeing and quality of life for the elderly in Horsham. Their charity shop is located in the Carfax next to Cellys Hairdressers. They sell a range of clothes, books, toys and home items.
