Find a Restaurant to Celebrate Mother’s Day in Horsham

We’re lucky in Horsham to have so many restaurants right on our doorstep. If you find yourself going to the same places more often than not, why not try something new this Mother’s Day?

Cisswood House

Why not head down to the Cisswood House in Lower Beeding, Horsham and treat your mum to a delicious lunch with plenty of choices, or afternoon tea which includes a glass of prosecco. South Lodge Hotel

Celebrate in style at the South Lodge Hotel this Mother’s Day. There are four different dining options to choose from, what better way to treat your mum than a fine dining experience! Choose from a delicious Sunday lunch in The Camellia, a true dining experience in The Pass (Over 12’s only), or a traditional carvery in the South Downs Suite. All options include a special gift for the mums to make the day extra special.

The Chequers Inn

If you haven’t been here before, this place is an absolute must! They’ve been featured in the AA, Michelin, and Master Chefs of Great Britain Guides. Their Chef Proprietor worked at prestigious country house hotels, including South Lodge Hotel, where he became head chef and earned the Camellia restaurant three AA Rosettes.

The pub offers a delicious Mother’s Day menu and there are 2 available sittings:

First sitting arrival 12/12.30pm with tables vacated by 2.30/2.45pm

Second sitting arrival 3/3.30pm with tables vacated by 5.30/5.45pm

The Dragon Pub and Kitchen

The Dragon has an impressive menu boasting locally sourced seasonal food. The pub was renovated in 2015 and has since been very popular. At The Dragon, they choose the finest meat and fish and celebrate seasonal produce from around the world. All of their dishes are focused on the Robata grill and have a smokey flame-grilled flavour.

The Chardonnay

This restaurant is about a 12-minute drive from Horsham but is definitely worth the trip. Carl, the chef-proprietor, has an impressive work history including The Savoy in London, and Michelin Star Chelsea Room in Knightsbridge. They have impressive, consistently good reviews on TripAdvisor, see for yourself.

Their 3-course Mothers Day Menu is £28.50pp and has a great selection to choose from. Call 01903 892271 to make your reservation.

Price includes specialty bread loaves, the chefs canape and filter coffee with homemade petites fours.
